Before the launch
Get the addresses of the areas you want to measure visits, ideally in lat:long. They will be necessary to create a Geolist.
Define your targeting criteria. To maximize your chances of success, we recommend you include in-app traffic targeting and geotarget a radius around the conversion areas.
Decide what measurement tool you want to use:
mediasmart or Adsquare.While mediasmart's solution is global, check the availability per country for Adsquare. There is an interactive map that you can use for that.
Here's a summary of how the solutions differ.
To launch
You should already know which measurement tool you are going to use: mediasmart or Adsquare
Go to the Campaigns section, and create a Multichannel campaign. Check this guide for further information.
On the Launcher, select the tool you want to use, as shown in the screenshot.
Note: You can skip this step and set the tracking tool once the campaign is created, through the Tracking section in the Properties of your campaign.
Configure the campaign
Proceed to add your Targeting, Creatives, and Strategies.
To maximize your chances of success, we recommend you include:in-app traffic
geotargeting a radius around the conversion areas
creatives with time-sensitive promotions, maps, or directions to the closest stores.
If you haven't already, set the tracking through the Tracking section in the Properties of your campaign. You'll need to select:
The tracking tool
The measurement areas (Conversion Geolist)
The Attribution window.
Important note for additional tracking. If you are tracking Visits, the Conversion 1 KPI is reserved for 'Attributed visits'. So if you want to track additional events, use only the Conversion 2 to 5 KPIs.
Activate to start measuring
Once happy with the configuration, you should activate the campaign.
