Overview

3rd party tags, often used in programmatic advertising, serve as external scripts or code snippets that facilitate the delivery of ads or tracking. They enable advertisers to leverage third-party resources for ad serving, analytics, and audience targeting.

These tags can dynamically pull in ads, monitor user interactions, and provide valuable insights to monitor campaign performance in real time.

Format considerations

There are no standard specifications for HTML5 creatives. Depending on the content of the tag, you will have to respect these technical specifications defined for images or videos.

The size of the markup (JavaScript or HTLM5) must not exceed 4,000 characters, as the win rate may be affected by some SSPs blocking creatives with heavy markup.

Check Technical specifications for HTML & MRAID.
