This tag uses HTML attributes rather than URL parameters.

When the tag fires on your site, the HTML attributes will change into the corresponding parameters in the tag and then return the requested content. Note that there is no option to add cache busters (ord=%ts%). The tag automatically adds a random number.

In order to add parameters we need to add more attributes to the ins html tag, here is an example of the most common attributes added to the tag, for more options, you can check all in the official help page of Doubleclick:

As you can see we added manually one new parameter as data-dcm-click-tracker with our click macro %click_url_unesc% adding this is imperative for accurate click couting in our platform. Please remember to delete the > at the end of the previous last parameter ex. data-dcm-app-id=''> and add it back at the end of the new and now last parameter data-dcm-click-tracker='%click_url_unesc%' >. It is important to close the HTML tag correctly with > in the right place for the Ad to render properly. If your ad doesn't show in the preview, please check for this typo and do the specific manual changes.

We also recommend adding a publisher macro such as %bundle% (when you are going to buy mostly in-app) or %placement_name% (when the campaign is buying in-app and mWeb) under placeholder data-dcm-app-id=. This will help you troubleshoot possible discrepancies in impressions or clicks. We currently do not have a macro for the [APIFRAMEWORKS] nor [OMIDPARTNER], so please delete the placeholder and leave it in blank.

NOTE: Be aware that, when using the ins tag, you should select the 'Script' option of the tag (it should have the code data-dcm-rendering-mode='script' in it) if you want your campaign to run both in mweb and in-app. The 'iframe' tag (data-dcm-rendering-mode='iframe') only works for mweb.
