Overview
If you want to target users who have previously seen the campaign but have not clicked on it or any user except those who have already installed your app, you can use our smart rules: play with 'AND', 'OR' & 'NONE' rules.
Let's explore with a practical example, based on having three audiences:
Audience A,
Audience B,
Audience C.
Scenario 1
You want to target all the users in Audiences A, B, and C.
Target the 3 audiences using the 'At least one of them' section.
Our system will target all users in the A, B & C Audiences.
Scenario 2
You only want to target users that are found in all three A, B, and C audiences. These users overlap across those 3 audiences.
Target the 3 audiences using the 'Mandatory ones' section.
The system will only target users that are found in the A, B & C Audiences.
Scenario 3
You want to target users that are NOT found in any of the three A, B, and C audiences.
Target the 3 audiences using the 'None of them' section.
The system will only target users that are NOT found in either the A, B, or C Audiences.
Scenario 4
You want to target the users from Audiences A and B who are also in Audience C.
Target Audiences A and B in the 'At least one of them' section and Audience C in 'Mandatory ones'.
The system will only target users from the A & B audiences that are found in Audience C.
Scenario 5
You want to target all the users from Audience A that are not found in the B or C Audience.
Target Audience A in the 'At least one of them' or 'Mandatory ones' section and add Audiences B and C to the 'None of them section'.
The system will target all the users from Audience A that are not found in either Audience B or C.
Use cases
To target users who have previously seen the campaign but have not clicked on it:
You can target an Audience generated on impressions, which we'll call "Impressions Audience" as Mandatory, and
target another audience generated from users that have clicked on the ad, which we'll call “Clicks Audience” as None of them.
To target any user except those who have already installed the app, that are in the suppression audience:
Target an “Installs Audience” - generated using the app download information shared by the MMPs with us - as a "None of them”.
