Attribution window on clicks

The Attribution window for clicks is a predefined period during which a click on an ad is credited for a conversion. This window can vary in length and ranges from a few days to several weeks.

The purpose is to determine how long after a user clicks on an ad the action is considered to have been influenced by that specific ad.

Type the attribution window for clicks you have determined for your campaign in the corresponding space.

It can range between 1 and 120 days and it only applies when the attribution can be exactly established based on unique user identifiers (web cookie, IDFA, GAID, etc.). Should the attribution take place via fingerprinting, the attribution window will be:

  • a. 48 hours if the click and conversion happened on a wifi connection, and

  • b. 30 minutes if one of them happened on a cellular connection.
